CTA unveils artwork to be installed at Red Line stations

June 18, 2013 (CHICAGO)

CTA President Forrest Claypool on Tuesday unveiled designs for artwork that will be installed and displayed at seven Red Line stations on the North Side.

The stations were all rehabilitated last year.

The CTA is seeking artists to create special pieces of art for eight stations on the south end of the Red Line that are closed as part of the big reconstruction project between Cermak and 87th Street.
