A theatre play is raising awareness about the very real and sensitive issue of sex trafficking in Chicago.

Her Story Theater's "Shadow Town" is now playing, and proceeds help fund organizations like The Salvation Army and The Dreamcatcher Foundation, which help combat the problem of sex trafficking. The Salvation Army has the PROMISE Program and Anne's House, a home for women and girls who are victims of commercial sexual exploitation and trafficking.

ABC7's Theresa Gutierrez will even be part of the performance of "Shadow Town" on Sunday, October 27. Mary Bonnett, Artistic Director of www.HerStoryTheater.org Her Story Theater, came into our ABC7 studio to tell us more about the problem and the play.
