Man sentenced to 6 years prison for fatal DUI; Karlos Leath pled guilty in crash that killed 18-year-old Stephanie Pickett

A DuPage County judge has sentenced Karlos Leath to six years in prison for a drunk driving crash that killed 18-year-old Stephanie Pickett.

A DuPage County judge has sentenced a Chicago man to six years in prison for a drunk driving crash that killed his passenger.

Karlos Leath pled guilty to driving under the influence in the April 2013 crash in Winfield.

At the time of the crash, his blood alcohol level was more than two times the legal limit.

The crash killed his passenger, 18-year-old Stephanie Pickett. She was a senior at Wheaton-Warrenville South High School.
