Melvin Flowers was the winner of the Lucky Day Lotto drawing January 2. The 56-year-old printing company machinist says a portion of his windfall will pay for the wedding he and his fiancee are planning for later this year.
Flowers bought his ticket at the Captain Fresh Farm in Maywood. The store will get $3,500 - or one percent of Flowers' jackpot - for selling the ticket.
