A source close to the prince said 25-year-old Bonas was "too needy and it wasn't working out." But another source said the breakup was amicable and the two will remain friends.

Public pressure seems to be taking a toll on their relationship. One source says they're taking a breather. So there's always a possibility they could get back together again.

The couple was introduced by Harry's cousin Eugenie.

The relationship followed a well-publicized six-year relationship with Chelsy Davy and Prince Harry from 2004-'10

Harry, a pilot in the British military, put on a surprise performance last summer iat a Shopshire, England airshow, performing stunts as the co-pilot of an Apache attack helicopter.

Harry, along with the 170 members of his unit, the Household Cavalry Regiment, received an Operational Service Medal in 2008 for his 10 weeks of military service in Afghanistan.
