ABC7's Linda Yu was among the several members of the community honored Thursday night at Vora in the Near North Side neighborhood.
Eight leaders were also recognized for their contributions to the Asian Pacific American community.
Two other members of the community were also honored for their roles as civic leaders.
Jonathan Alter and Barbara Manilow received Abner and Zoe Mikva Civic Leadership awards.
