Police warn of residential burglaries in Jefferson Park

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police are warning Jefferson Park residents of a series of residential burglaries reported in the area throughout October.

Police say the offenders allegedly entered residences through front or rear doors as well as windows, taking electronics, jewelry and cash in the day and early evening hours.

Incidents were reported at the following locations:

  • 4800-block of W. Ainslie on Oct. 9-10 between 3 p.m.-7 a.m.
  • 5600-block of N. Elston on Oct. 23 at 3:49 p.m.
  • 5500-block of W. Windsor on Oct. 26 between 7:30 a.m.-8 p.m.
  • 5000-block of W. Agatite on Oct. 27 between 7:30 a.m.-6:15 p.m.
