13-year-old shot in the leg in Englewood

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A 13-year-old boy was injured in a shooting in the city's Englewood neighborhood, police said.

The boy suffered a gunshot wound to the leg after the incident happened in the 6700-block of Sangamon around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, police said.

He was transported to a local hospital in good condition, and officials believe he was not the intended target.
