Instagram alert! Sip into these over-the-top cocktails in New Jersey
FREEHOLD, New Jersey -- A New Jersey restaurant has a cocktail fit for anyone's Instagram feed.
Using the power of social media, the team at 618 Restaurant has turned flavorful and extravagant cocktails into a marketing sensation.
"The followers that we've gained is purely through photos. So when we see that we're getting hundreds of likes on a cocktail that only makes us more creative for the next one," said Liz Borowski, owner of 618 Restaurant.
The 5-year-old restaurant in Freehold, New Jersey, offers guests American cuisine by award-winning Chef Christopher Dutka as well as a long list of specialty drinks, wines and fountain cocktails.

"The feedback we get makes our ideas flow and that's why we started our fountain cocktails, which are awesome. They are tall cocktails, which serve up to six guests," Borowski said.
The fountain cocktails, which are served on a first come first serve basis, include the Spicy passionfruit margarita, the Barbie world and the Corpse Reviver.
The aesthetic of the restaurant itself, inspired by the rustic and classic feel of California wineries, can be experienced through its lavish chandeliers and décor.
"You can expect anything when you come here. We're always changing the restaurant, our cocktails and are always ready to impress. Our ideas get better and better every time," Borowski said.
