Local choir invited to China, seeking donations

CHICAGO The concert choir performed Thursday with other school choral groups at Walter Payton College Prep, 1034 N. Wells, in Chicago. The choir has been invited to sing at a choral festival in China in March.

The festival is part of the countdown to the 2008 Olympics.

The trip costs $3,500 per student, so the choir needs help raising money.
