CHICAGO --
A man has been charged with hitting a Chicago police officer with his car. Marcus Stanley, 25, of Chicago, has been charged with aggravated battery to a police officer. Investigators say he was the driver who hit the officer on Congress Parkway Tuesday night. The officer was not seriously hurt.
Stanley is due in court Thursday.
