Bond was set at $5 million Monday for an reputed street gang member accused of killing a man, and then burying his victim in concrete.

Daniel Nevarez was arrested in late December. A tip led officers to search the basement of a building owned by Nevarez's grandfather. They found the body of 25-year-old Eric Kaminski buried under 6 feet of concrete. Kaminski had been reported missing in May of 2004.

Monday in court, prosecutors said Nevarez shot Kaminski in the head and buried him because he thought Kaminski had stolen money from him.
