The student attends Indian Hills Community College in Ottumwa. She told investigators she met a member of the Wilbur Wright Community College basketball team at a Days Inn hotel. That was where the team was staying for the night. She claims she was raped by several members of the team after she passed out in one of the hotel rooms.
Investigators say the 18-year-old student had a blood-alcohol level that was twice the legal limit. Police say their investigation is on-going, and so far, no charges have been filed.
