Threatening graffiti found at Batavia school

BATAVIA The graffiti in a bathroom stall at Rotolo Middle School indicated possible violence later this week.

School officials have tightened security around the school. They plan to search all student backpacks, purses and bags and some students will also be searched with handheld metal detectors.

Batavia police will also have plainclothes and uniformed police officers at the school throughout the day.
