A Hammond teacher is accused of attacking his 11-year-old son with a wrench and breaking the boy's nose.

Zaceri Williams faces charges of neglect of a dependent. The 33-year-old man is employed by the Hammond school's bilingual education program.

The incident took place in December when Williams allegedly beat his son because he'd found the boy asleep while wearing his eyeglasses.

Williams was already charged with attacking another one of his children in 2006.
