Authorities investigate fire at suburban school

There were no classes Tuesday at a south suburban high school because of a small fire.

The fire broke out before dawn in a storeroom at Lincoln Way Central High School in New Lenox. Police say it was confined to one science classroom.

There's no word yet on what caused the fire, but it does not appear to have been deliberately set.

The school's web site says after-school events will continue as scheduled.
