FBI photos showed a blanket in the trunk of Stebic's car when Plainfield police seized the vehicle last year. Stebic was allowed to retrieve the car this week and any items that were inside. Stebic's attorney has filed a court motion asking why the blanket might have been taken from the car.
Lisa Stebic vanished last April. The woman filed for a divorce just before she was reported missing.
