2 west suburban schools closed for threat
BELLWOOD School officials at Thurgood Marshall Elementary School in Bellwood told police they found a threatening note in a bathroom stall. The note read "prepare to die." Bomb sniffing dogs from the Cook County Sheriff's Office were brought out. Thurgood Marshall will now close until further notice while authorities investigate. Roosevelt Middle School located nearby will also close Tuesday as a precaution. Roosevelt Middle School was not mentioned in any threat.
