Laugh coaches urge patients to let it out

Laugh coaches at a hospital near Sacramento are urging patients with breathing problems to just let it out. The hour-long session called "laughysema" forces people to laugh.

Respiratory therapists have discovered that laughter is good medicine for people with shallow breathing. But they add that it goes beyond breathing. It just makes you feel better overall.

The coaches say it doesn't matter if you fake a laugh either because the brain cannot discern the difference.
