The anti-depressant Prozac may help slow multiple sclerosis.

A new study shows that people who took the drug had fewer of the brain lesions that are a hallmark of the incurable disease. The findings in the British Medical Journal were from a small study but scientists say they justify further examination in those afflicted with MS. It showed that Prozac tends to reduce the formation of new enhancing lesions in patients with MS.
