Government safety experts are investigating complaints about a Ford minivan. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is investigating 130 reports of engine fires in the Ford Windstar.

The agency will look into whether the fires are related to a defective switch already recalled in millions of other Ford vehicles.

The investigation focuses on 1.7 million Ford Windstars made between 1995 and 2003.

No recall has been issued.
