Police question suspect in bank heist following chase
CHICAGO It happened at about noon at the National Bank at North Western and West Belden.
The FBI says a man gave the teller a note indicating he had a weapon, but he did not show one.
He received an undetermined amount of money and fled in a car.
A Chicago police officer spotted the car on North Avenue and gave chase.
The suspect crashed into a tree at Kedzie and Homer.
He tried to run away but police arrested him.
He's expected to appear in court Wednesday.
