Schmitz is accused of having pornographic images of children on his personal and business computers.
Investigators say Schmitz operated his photography business, Studio 2-11, from his Naperville apartment.
He's due back in court June 23.

NAPERVILLE Forty-nine-year-old Thomas Schmitz is being held on $100,000 bond.
He faces four felony charges of possession of child pornography.
