Lawyers want DUI case dismissed after officer dies

The case against Judge David Hall has been put on hold. He's also facing resisting arrest and other traffic charges.

The arresting officer, Jesse goldsmith, died of a heart attack last week at the age of 42.

Both prosecutors and the defense voiced compassion for Goldsmith during a hearing Wednesday.

Prosecutors are now trying to determine how the death of the officer will effect the case.
