BBQ Shrimp;
6 large shrimp, shelled and deveined
1 wooden skewer, soaked in water
salt and pepper
olive oil spray
BBQ sauce
Salt and pepper the shrimp, lightly, and spray with olive oil spray
Place onto grill and brush liberally with the sauce
Grill for two to three minuted or until done
SAUCE;
Dry rub (cumin, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, Old Bay, > dried mustard, cinamon, cayenne)
Cider Vinegar
1 12oz bottle of Round Barn Cocoa Stout
1 bottle of your favorite commercial BBQ sauce
1/2 pound of bacon
Combine beer, dry rub, vinegar in a sauce pan and bring to a boil
Reduce to a simmer until the sugars caramelize and the mixture coats
the back of a spoon
While your mixture is reducing put the bacon into a 400 degree oven
and cook for twenty minutes or until crispy
Once the mixture has reduced add the bottle of commercial BBQ sauce,
bring back to a boil, and then turn off the heat
In a food processor add the bacon and 1/3 of the BBQ sauce from the
sauce pan
Blend until incorporated and then fold the bacon mixture back into
the sauce
Reserve for use
