The father of Chicago Alderman Ricardo Munoz has pleaded guilty to charges in connection with a fake I.D. ring. Elias Munoz was arrested during a raid in April of 2007 at the Little Village Discount Mall. He is the owner of Nuevo Foto Munoz.

Prosecutors say he took pictures that were used to make fake driver's licenses, Social Security cards and resident alien cards.

On Tuesday, Munoz admitted he knew the photos were being used for illegal purposes. He'll be sentenced September 24 and could face up to five years in prison.
