Day care may lead to weight gain for infants

Researchers find these children are more likely to be exposed to unfavorable feeding practices, possibly putting them at risk for childhood weight problems.

Authors of the study also found that roughly 40 percent of infants placed in child care when they were younger than three months were less likely to have been breastfed.
