Measles cases up in DuPage Co.

NAPERVILLE The new cases are in the Naperville area.

So far, 14 people have been confirmed to have the potentially deadly rash and fever disease. That's up from seven confirmed cases in May.

Health officials say the increase is due to people not being vaccinated. There's no specific treatment for measles, but it can be prevented by getting vaccinated.

Measles symptoms include rash, high fever, cough, runny nose and red, watery eyes.
