Man sentenced in 2007 death of traffic aide

A 19-year-old man pleaded guilty Friday to driving a van around a truck, killing a City of Chicago traffic aide.The aide, Angela Jaynes, 39, was struck at the intersection of Ashland and Archer in April 2007.

Jaynes was the mother of two children and two step-children.

Friday, 19-year-old Joseph Cruz was sentenced to three years and three months in prison on a reckless homicide charge.
