Charges filed in fatal ATV crash

BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis. A criminal complaint says 23-year-old Phillip Holloway told investigators he drank four or five beers before driving his vehicle Sunday afternoon east of Black River Falls.

Holloway says he was going about 45 mph when he collided with an ATV that was in the middle of the road.

The ATV driver, 60-year-old Karen Gibson, was killed. The three-year-old girl on the back suffered minor injuries.

Holloway is charged with homicide by intoxicated use of a vehicle and two misdemeanors.
