DuSable, 'Father of Chicago,' honored

CHICAGO A wreath-laying paid tribute to Jean Pointe DuSable on the 190th anniversary of his death.

The ceremony took place in Pioneer Court on the 400-block of North Michigan Avenue, the site where DuSable built the first permanent settlement in the city.
