At least 7 hurt in CHA building fire

August 31, 2008 Firefighters battled the blaze at the building in the 6500 block of South King Drive.

Officials conducted a floor-by-floor search for residents who may have become trapped.

At least seven people were transported from the scene for smoke inhalation. One was in serious to critical condition late Sunday morning.
