Horse gets prosthetic leg

SHERIDAN, Wyo. Riley's left hind leg had to be amputated after a severe injury. At first, doctors thought they would have to put her down. But surgeons in Sheridan, Wyoming, were able to save her life.

Luckily, Riley was at an equine center that gives prosthetics to horses. There are only three such places in the country.

Riley's new leg uses titanium, which is found in prosthetics for humans. She now walks around pain free.

After some rehab, Riley is headed for a horse sanctuary in southern Utah.
