The victim is an eighth grader at Hanson Park Elementary School.
Police say it was a drive by shooting. They are looking for a black Dodge Intrepid. It's unknown whether the boy was the intended target.

CHICAGO It happened just before 9 a.m. in the 2200-block of North Long on the city's Northwest Side.
The 14-year-old boy was shot in the leg and is in good condition.
