But it was a very long day for residents who were without working toilets or running water.
"Well, you got commodes you need to flush, and you know, you need to shower you need to clean up. It's just dirty. I don't like to be a dirty person," said Bobby Dawson, Robbins resident.
Three schools had to cancel classes Tuesday as a result of the water problem.
Residents said they felt the village's response was too slow and that the Robbins web site lacked updated information.
