The boy who died was reportedly ejected from the SUV and was pinned against the building. Police say the driver is in police custody with charges pending.
SUV strikes building, boy killed
CHICAGO The crash happened in the 4500 block of west Bryn Mawr in the Ravenswood neighborhood.
A 12-year-old boy was also hurt in the crash. Sources at the scene said that neither boy was wearing a seat belt.
