A cast of local media members teamed up with a Grammy award winner for a musical jam and a good cause.It was called News-a-palooza and featured pop singer and songwriter Richard Marx and his band.
ABC7's own Ryan Chiaverini and Tracy Butler were among the musical media on stage.
Proceeds from the event benefit the cystic fibrosis foundation.
The concert was organized by WLS-AM.
