Target to notify customers about recalls

A retailer is rolling out an in-store program to notify customers about recalls. Target is teaming up with the consumer product safety commission.

Instead of posting recalls on store bulletin boards, Target will display posters throughout their stores informing customers about recalls.

The posters will direct people to kiosks where they can get more information.

Customers with target credit cards will also be notified directly if they purchased a product that is recalled.
