Breastfeeding could make lungs stronger

That's the finding of a study in the journal Thorax where more than 1,000 children had their lungs tested at the age of 10.The results show that the lungs of the children who were breast fed four months or longer were stronger than the lungs of children given bottles.

Researches theorize that some of the benefits of breast milk may actually have to do with the physical action required by the baby to draw out the milk.
