The city of Chicago will pay $288,000 in a settlement involving a 2004 police raid at a Southwest Side bar.In that raid, officers with the now disbanded, special operations section swarmed Caballo's Bar on West 63rd Street, questioning nearly everyone inside.

Two people were arrested on drug charges but those charges were later dropped.

Three officers were stripped of their badges after bar surveillance video showed inconsistencies with the police report the officers filed following the raid.

The police department disbanded SOS in 2007 following this and other civil rights lawsuits filed against the specialized unit.
