Chicago 2016 in Switzerland for final pitch

June 15, 2009 (Lausanne, SWITZERLAND) Mayor Daley travels to Switzerland this week with the city's 2016 Olympic bid team for one final pitch.

Members of an International Olympic Committee inspection team visited Chicago in April. Now, Chicago organizers will meet with IOC members on Wednesday and Thursday in Switzerland.

On October 2nd the IOC will announce which city will host the 2016 games.

Madrid, Tokyo and Rio are also making pitches to the IOC this week.
