Rainbow Cone comes downtown

June 24, 2009 (CHICAGO) Original Rainbow Cone will open a location in the Landmark Page Brother's Building next to the Chicago Theater on North State Street in August. It will occupy a storefront alongside the Halsted Street Deli Sandwich Shop.

The 83-year-old Original Rainbow Cone is well known in Chicago's Beverly neighborhood. Owners have been looking for a new location downtown ever since closing its Union Station store back in 2001.
