Cop from Chicago honored in Dugard case

September 22, 2009 Lisa Campbell is a University of California-Berkeley police specialist. She received worldwide praise for following her intuition that something "didn't look right" when she encountered Phillip Garrido and his two daughters on campus last month.

That led to the arrest of Garrido for allegedly kidnapping Dugard as a child in 1991 and holding her captive since then.

Campbell was honored Monday at a public event in her current home town of San Ramon, California.
