Toyota to inspect vehicles after recall

Toyota has been ordered by the government to inspect 3.8 million Toyota and Lexus vehicles. The automaker must address problems with removable floor mats. They could cause the accelerator to get stuck and lead to a crash.

The recall follows a high speed crash in San Diego in August that killed four family members.

Toyota and Lexus owners should remove the mats from their vehicles until the automaker finds a way to fix the problem.

The recall involves several Lexus and Toyota models, including the popular Toyota Camry and Toyota Prius.

Owners will be notified about the recall as early as next week.
