Wal-Mart to offer more toys for less

October 1, 2009 Wal-Mart says more than 100 toys on its shelves will come with a price tag of just $10.

It's an expansion of a promotion Wal-Mart had last holiday season when it offered 10 toys for $10.

Wal-Mart hopes this will attract recession-weary shoppers.

The company says it has spent the last year working with toy makers including Hasbro and Mattel to develop new toys it can sell for less or to cut prices on existing toys.
