Saint Charles East High to reopen Monday

October 22, 2009 (CHICAGO) Officials say about 900 students got sick, and perhaps 10 percent had influenza-like symptoms.

Kane County's health department, School District 303, and the Illinois Department of Public Health are trying to determine what made the other students ill.

The high school is reopening because a phone survey found that many of the ailing students are now well enough to attend classes.
