Toy retailer opening upscale shops

October 27, 2009 Beginning Sunday, Toys R Us will launch FAO Schwarz boutiques inside 585 of its stores.

Toys R Us bought the FAO Schwarz brand back in May.

Toys inside the boutiques will range between $3 and $65.

Toys R Us is also relaunching the FAO Schwarz Web site. It will also continue to publish the annual FAO Schwarz holiday catalog which comes out November 10th.
