Health care reform could ease Americans' pain

November 4, 2009 A panel of leading experts says inefficiencies in treatment and inequities in care are creating what they call an "epidemic of under-treatment."

The group, which is backed by 30 organizations, is calling for healthcare reform and better training of doctors and medical school students on treating chronic pain.

The report and panel were put together by the May Day Fund , an endowment focused on pain research.
