A 17-year-old suburban girl who lost an eye when she was attacked in Chicago returned to school Monday at Schaumburg High School. Andria Sanders was visiting her grandmother three weeks ago when the attack happened.

Monday, classmates and teachers joined together in a show of support and solidarity to welcome Sanders back. They wore eye patches themselves to match the one Sanders now wears.

Our news partner The Daily Herald provided pictures. Sanders will now be catching up on her school work.

Four people have been charged in the attack.
