Amazon releases e-book application

On Tuesday, Amazon released Kindle for PC.

The application lets users read e-books on a personal computer.

I-Phones and the iPod touch can also be synced to display Kindle reading purchases.

The application can be downloaded for free on the Kindle for PC Web site.
